With only three concerts left in the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift is nearing the very end of a year-plus-long global tour. The singer was understandably reflective about that when writing about her penultimate tour stop, Toronto, on Instagram. She will perform at her last shows in Vancouver on December 6, December 7, and December 8.
“Our next city will be the last one of The Eras Tour, and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far,” Swift said. “See you 🔜 , Vancouver. We can’t wait to give you all we’ve got for three more shows. 🥲”
Her full message touched on the “love” she felt playing in Toronto with her opener, Gracie Abrams. Swift wrote in full:
Our 6 shows in Toronto were so incredible. It was awesome to play in Canada after so much time. As always, the fans in Toronto treated us like it was a hometown show. Couldn’t have asked for more love or generosity from the people who came out. I got to play a mashup of the *Grammy nominated* song ‘us’ with @gracieabrams, mashed up with ‘Out of the Woods’ and I just adore her. She’s been giving the most amazing performances every night on this tour!! The emotions have gotten pretty heightened for me and the rest of the team because it’s gotten extremely real for us: Our next city will be the last one of The Eras Tour, and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far. See you 🔜 , Vancouver. We can’t wait to give you all we’ve got for three more shows. 🥲
AND for all International fans, I’m excited to tell you The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology will be available to you online starting 29 Nov at 1pm GMT along with The Official Eras Tour Book starting 7 Dec at 1pm GMT 🫶
Swift was already fighting back tears onstage during her last show in Toronto on Saturday, November 23. Her voice choked up as she thanked the people who have made her concert happen.
“To my band and to my crew and everybody who’s put so much of this into this tour, and I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. I’m just having a [moment]—sorry. It’s not even the last show!” She pulled herself together and said, “To my band, to my crew, all my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this, and you’ve put so much of your lives into being with us tonight and to giving us that moment that we will never forget. We have loved our time on tour. It’s been so amazing. I love you, guys. Thank you so much for that.”
While the Vancouver shows are sold out on Ticketmaster, resellers are still offering tickets. Here’s where to find tickets for each day Swift is at BC Place Stadium:
Friday, December 6
Saturday, December 7
Sunday, December 8
Back in June, Swift first addressed the end of the Eras Tour—and how Dec. 8, 2024 would really be the grand finale. She told the crowd in Liverpool on June 13:
I think, you know, a lot of you are like, “How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?” And for me, the celebration of the 100th show, for me, means this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December, like that’s it. And that feels like so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so much fun for us.
I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore because all I do when I’m not onstage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear and just, really, when I’m not on the stage, I’m dreaming about being back on the stage with you guys.
