This workout is short — just 10 minutes — and requires no equipment. But it packs in a lot of work. PS Fit instructor Natalie White designed it to target your abs, core, and thighs, and she’ll have you huffing and puffing within minutes. If you need to modify any moves, you’ll be able to follow along with Fatima Karalova, who’s assisting White along with Tiff Marie. And if you crave an even bigger challenge, White has you covered, with demonstrations of how to boost the intensity of the foundational workout.
The class begins with a quick warmup, incorporating movements like reaches, twisting punches, side bends, and squats. The class then dives right into challenging exercises like oblique crunches and planks, along with static split squats and jackknifes. If you ever find yourself hitting a wall, glance at the clock — it’s easy to stay motivated when there are just minutes to get through. “Ten minutes goes by so quickly! And it only takes 10 minutes of working out to improve your mood throughout the day,” White says toward the end of the class. “Thank your body for being able to move and work out. It’s a privilege, not a chore, to move our bodies.”
After the workout is complete, White takes the class through several gentle stretches to cool down. And just like that, you’re done — core and thighs worked and mood lifted, and you’re ready for the rest of your day or night. If you want to stack this quickie with other 10-minute workouts, though, consider this 10-minute Pilates class with Lindsay Arnold from “Dancing With the Stars” or a low-impact 30-minute walking workout with Tanner Courtad.
