Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber stunned at the opening of the Omega House Paris last night, joining a coterie of stars who have descended on the City of Light for the 2024 Olympics. The mother-daughter duo delivered a matching sartorial moment in two different takes on the LBD as they posed on the red carpet for the watch brand’s big outing—an exclusive, invite-only affair at the Hôtel de Poulpry, which has been transformed into a luxury lounge specifically for the Games.
There was a lot to celebrate. The very same evening, the U.S. scored its first gold medal of the Paris Games for the men’s 4×100 freestyle relay. Caeleb Dressel, an Omega ambassador, was part of the winning team. Inside the party, Gerber passed through the crowd in black minidress and red Gucci slingbacks; Crawford, for her part, donned a midi-length dress paired with black sandals and a red clutch. The supermodels accessorized with simple chain necklaces and, naturally, Omega watches on their wrists.
As the Official Timekeeper of the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics, Omega has a big presence at the global sports event and in the stands, where Crawford and Gerber, who both serve as global ambassadors, watched the competitions unfold earlier in the day.
Also among those celebrating at the property were Gabby Thomas, French rapper Rim’K, and French actresses Karidja Touré and Kim Higelin. Through August 10, the pop-up will serve as a place where invitees can enjoy specialty cocktails, sample food, and watch the sporting events live on numerous screens.
“I love that the House is right in the heart of this spectacular host city,” Crawford told ELLE. Gerber agreed, sharing, “Omega always does everything to the highest standard. You can see it when they time the events at the Olympic Games, and you can see it here in every detail of the House. I feel quite honored to be here on Opening Night.”
On Sunday afternoon, Crawford shared another glimpse of her time in Paris with her daughter, posting a shot of them at the Arc de Triomphe, enjoying the sunshine.
