The day after the Met Gala, Beyoncé offered her Instagram followers a rare look at what she’s been up to, including a glimpse at her secret trip to Coachella to support Chlöe Bailey. In the posts, Beyoncé showcased her latest Cowboy Carter-inspired outfit, which included a Willie Nelson T-shirt, sparkly Daisy Duke shorts, a vintage Linea Pelle belt, and American flag boots. Nelson, of course, is featured on Beyoncé’s new album.

Bailey thanked Beyoncé for her support, commenting on the post, “😍😍love you B”

Bailey spoke to Teen Vogue about performing on her own at the music festival’s first weekend, saying, “It truly went by like a blur. It was the best feeling, and I’m really happy I get to do it again.”

She explained that she didn’t have any guests on stage with her partly because “we wanted to represent a different version of myself for this performance.”

She added, “I just felt that it’s the time for people to see what I truly can do. I’m underestimated a lot, which is fun. I actually like the challenge and the push. I just wanted people to see, hey, I’m a great performer, and I love putting my heart and soul out on the stage. That was really my method for this.” Her work was clearly Beyoncé-approved.

Beyoncé, for her part, has been focused on promoting Cowboy Carter and her new hair care line, Cécred. Recently, she shared an Instagram that gave a rare look at her wash day, using the products. “Being disruptive and challenging everything people feel should be the process has always been exciting to me,” she wrote in the caption. “My hair and music seemed to do that a lot over the years…

“Maintaining 25 years of blonde on natural hair through all the experimenting I do has played a huge part in developing @cecred’s products. It’s the hardest to keep color-treated hair healthy and strong, but @cecred is here. All quality, with NO shortcuts.”
