There were a plethora of surprises throughout Selling Sunset season 7, from the awkward argument between Chrishell Stause and Marie-Lou Nurk to the team’s dramatic trip to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. But the series also introduced real estate agent Cassandra Dawn Repstad, whose time on the show got off to a tense start.

But who is she, and is she joining Selling Sunset for future seasons? Here’s what you need to know about the real estate agent and model.

She’s a real estate agent, but doesn’t work at The Oppenheim Group.

On the show, Cassandra revealed that she’d only recently become a real estate agent and that she was working with Christie’s in Beverly Hills. The season also saw her asking Jason Oppenheim to co-list a $29 million property with her, presumably in the hope that it might lead to her joining The Oppenheim Group in the future.

For now, at least, Cassandra doesn’t seem to have secured a role with Jason and Brett Oppenheim’s company. According to her LinkedIn, she’s an agent at both the Aaron Kirman Group and at Revel Real Estate in Beverly Hills, California.

She was a Playboy model.

Per her IMDb biography, Cassandra was chosen to be the Playboy Cybergirl of the Week in June 2010, and she appeared on the reality show Playboy Shootout, in which models and photographers competed for a chance to be featured in a print issue of the magazine.

During her time at Playboy, it seems that Cassandra had the chance to work with Selling Sunset’s Heather Rae El Moussa, with the pair being pictured together in 2018. This tracks with what Cassandra revealed on Selling Sunset, after she told some of the agents that she’d recently spoken with Heather, and that she was excited about the former model’s new baby.

She used to work as a contemporary art dealer.

Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Cassandra worked as a contemporary art advisor in both Los Angeles and London, per Realtor. The site noted that Cassandra helped her clients acquire pieces by artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami, Damien Hirst, and Banksy.

She has a twin.

Cassandra has a twin sister named Jackie Dawn. They were born on January 10, 1990, making them both Capricorns, a fact that Cassandra emphasized during her time on Selling Sunset.

According to Jackie’s IMDb biography, she has modeled nude for Playboy, and was encouraged by Cassandra to pursue a modeling career.

She’s married.

While appearing on Selling Sunset, Cassandra revealed that she’d been married for one year and eight months, but she didn’t reveal any further details about her husband. Cassandra’s husband, John Repstad, works in commercial real estate. The couple tied the knot on October 9, 2021 at Rosewood Miramar Beach in California. Celebrating her big day, Cassandra wrote on Instagram, “I married the man of my dreams as we celebrated with our families & closest friends. Within 1 year of meeting, his love broke down my walls, absolutely swept me off my feet & I’ve grown more as a person by his side than I thought I would in a lifetime.” She continued, “I felt right away he could be my husband, his beautiful humble heart radiated from him & it felt as if I knew him forever. … I love you john & I’m so proud to be your wife.”

Per Realtor, Cassandra “enjoys listening to uplifting podcasts, visiting art galleries, and taking long walks in her beautiful Santa Monica neighborhood with her husband and their puppy.”

She claims to have worked with Bre Tiesi in the past.

Cassandra’s first appearance on Selling Sunset was incredibly awkward, mainly because cast member Bre Tiesi seemingly denied having ever known her. While introducing herself to several of the agents from The Oppenheim Group during a trip to Cabo, Mexico, Cassandra claimed to know Tiesi, saying, “We know each other from back in the day.” She also said that they used to do bottle service together.

However, Tiesi’s recollection seemed to vary, as she said on camera, “I wouldn’t say we actually know each other, but I guess being in the industry everyone kind of knows of each other.” Tiesi continued, “We didn’t actually hang out or meet or anything.” Tiesi then went on to claim that Cassandra had been messaging her incessantly on social media, which she didn’t seem to care for. If Cassandra returns for another season of Selling Sunset, it seems likely that the tension she has with Tiesi will only magnify.

She announced her Selling Sunset appearance on Instagram.

Cassandra’s role on Selling Sunset was largely kept under wraps until season 7 dropped on the streamer. Announcing the news, Cassandra shared an Instagram post, writing, “Huge congrats to the boys @jasonoppenheim @brettoppenheim, the lovely cast & crew on the premier of #SellingSunset season 7 airing on @netflix November 3 at midnight!!” She continued, “Stay tuned for an appearance by yours truly 🫶🏽🌹can’t say much yet but wow what a whirlwind of glam, great clothes, drama & real estate! You don’t want to miss it.”
