Selena Gomez likes to joke about her dating life on social media, and she just dropped another TikTok reminding everyone she’s still single. In the brief video, Gomez is seated on a couch and lip-syncing to a popular sound about romance.

“Guess who has a boyfriend?” Gomez mouths along to the sound clip. “Not me b-tch, y’all stay safe out there.”

The singer has her hair in two braids, which she twirls while in character. She’s wearing a long-sleeved white shirt that brushes past her upper thigh, and has on a light makeup palette with a dark pink lip.

Gomez just released a single on August 25 about singlehood, literally called, “Single Soon.”

The dance hit is about someone who is planning to break up with their partner and who is looking forward to living the single life again. While promoting her new music last month, The Only Murders In the Building star said in an interview on SiriusXM Hits 1 LA that she is partly single because of her “standards.”

“I think I have standards,” she said. “And I think I live in a world right now where boys confuse standards with high maintenance.”

She added, “I’m not ashamed to say, ‘I actually require X, Y, and Z for you to be with me.’”

The Rare Beauty founder went on to explain exactly what those requirements are.

“You gotta be cool, man,” she said. “Not cool in the sense that people think you’re cool. You just gotta be nice and like, please make me laugh and also just be good to my family and people around you.”

Until she meets this paragon, Gomez says she’s happy where she’s at.

“I think everybody goes through the phase of, ‘Oh, it’d be nice to like have someone,’ and I get that,” she explained. “But I’m just enjoying where I’m at and I just want to be happy with who I am so that whenever that person comes into my life, I can just have them add on to me instead of being this insecure person that I normally used to be.”
