One year after the two officially became husband and wife, Jennifer Lopez is commemorating her secret Las Vegas wedding with Ben Affleck with a song.

In her fan newsletter, On the JLo, the multi-hyphenate shared lyrics for a song titled “Midnight Trip to Vegas.” The song detailed the stress that comes with planning a big Hollywood wedding (“It’s crowded with families and agents / Room reservations / Which destination / Paps’ helicopters / Event of the ages”). Lopez and Affleck’s solution? Taking their blended family on a midnight road trip to Las Vegas, where they could get married without the rest of the world knowing (“Didn’t tell a soul ’bout how it’s goin’ down tonight”).

The lyrics reflect the couple’s real Vegas wedding, which took place in July 2022. For the occasion, Lopez’s kids, twins Emme and Max Muñiz, joined the couple for their nuptials.

The “Let’s Get Loud” singer previously revealed that her and Affleck’s first experience wedding planning 20 years ago inspired their decision to get hitched in Vegas. “This time, I absolutely had a little PTSD. I was like, Is this happening? Is this really happening? And we were so happy, and of course, it was happening, but I just felt the wedding was so stressful,” she said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “Ben just says, ‘F**k it, let’s just go to Vegas and get married tonight.’”

Lopez teased the song in her latest Instagram post, in which she shared a few selfies of herself in the bejeweled Valentino minidress she wore during her anniversary date with Affleck on Sunday.

“One year since our Midnight Trip To Vegas … 🤍♠️❤️ Go to On The JLo for a special surprise… #ThisIsMeNow,” she wrote in the caption.

Read the full lyrics to the song below:

I always dreamed that I’d find somebody like you

We’re drowning

In orchid arrangements

Dresses and pastries

What if it’s raining, yeah?

Is this what we’ve been dreaming of?

It’s crowded with families and agents

Room reservations

Which destination

Paps helicopters

Event of the ages

Caught in the matrix

Then you whispered in my ear

Said let’s get out of here

We can disappear tonight

What about a

Midnight trip to Vegas

Just me and you baby

Throw the kids in the back

Of the pink Cadillac

And us in the bathroom changing

Midnight trip to Vegas

Both our hearts are racin’

I’ll pick you up late

We don’t have to wait

Yeah let’s do something crazy

Woohoo woohoo woohoo ooo

Woohoo woohoo woohoo ooo

We could be driving right now

20 miles into the desert by now

Your hand on my thigh

Laughin’ ’til we cry

Didn’t tell a soul ’bout how it’s goin’ down tonight

Top down singing Freddie Mercury

Waiting in the line at the DMV

“Just married” on the window

So glad that we could keep it simple

Then I whispered in your ear

I’m so glad we’re here

Dancing with our fears tonight

On a Midnight trip to Vegas

Just me and you baby

Throw the kids in the back

Of the pink Cadillac

And us in the bathroom changin’

Midnight trip to Vegas

Both our hearts are racin’

I’ll pick you up late

We don’t have to wait

Yeah let’s do something crazy

Woohoo woohoo woohoo ooo

Woohoo woohoo woohoo ooo

I always dreamed that I’d find somebody like you

What about a

Midnight trip to Vegas

Just me and you baby

Throw the kids in the back

Of the pink Cadillac

And us in the bathroom changing

Midnight trip to Vegas

Both our hearts are racin’

I’ll pick you up late

We don’t have to wait

Yeah let’s do something crazy

Woohoo woohoo woohoo ooo

Woohoo woohoo woohoo ooo
