Kate and William Appear With Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis in New School Photos

The royal kids are starting school somewhere new, and Kate Middleton and Prince William followed their tradition of sharing photos of Prince George, 9; Princess Charlotte, 7; and 4-year-old Prince Louis’s first day (well, almost) back. The kids appear together with their parents as they headed to Lambrook School in Windsor for a settling in afternoon ahead of their first day tomorrow. The kids appear in uniform, while Kate wore a statement polka dot dress.

At the end of August, Kate and William announced their kids will be moving from their London schools to Lambrook School in Windsor, where the family will now be based. Kate, William, and their children will now be living in Adelaide Cottage on the Queen’s Windsor estate.

“Their Royal Highnesses are hugely grateful to Thomas’s Battersea where George and Charlotte have had a happy start to their education since 2017 and 2019 respectively and are pleased to have found a school for all three of their children which shares a similar ethos and values to Thomas’s,” the palace said in a statement when the news was announced.

“We are delighted that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will be joining us this coming September and very much look forward to welcoming the family, as we all as all of our new pupils, to our school community,” Jonathan Perry, headmaster at Lambrook, said in the press release the palace shared announcing the kids’ new school.

The new look at the royal kids comes shortly after Prince George’s 9th birthday at the end of July—the last time the royals shared personal photos of their children.

A source opened up to Us Weekly earlier this year about what George is like now. “His confidence has grown leaps and bounds over the last couple of years,” the source started. “He is assertive, self-assured and knows what he wants, and doesn’t hold back on speaking his mind. His personality is really starting to shine.”
