On Sunday, June 19, Gigi Hadid shouted out her ex Zayn Malik for Father’s Day after posting about her own father, Mohamed Hadid. In her first pic, she shared an adorable photo of herself with Mohamed in black and white in which he is giving her a kiss on the cheek as she snaps a selfie.
On it, she wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to my sweet baba. I love you!”
Then Gigi shared a photo of Malik’s very recognizable arms and legs with his signature tattoos. Both his face and the face of their daughter Khai are cut out of the frame, but Khai’s toddler feet and hands can be seen as she reaches for a coloring stick from her dad. They seem to be drawing on the floor at home together.
“& Khai’s baba!!!” she wrote.
Gigi has been very open about not wanting to share Khai’s image publicly, posting an open letter in July of 2021 when Khai was only ten months old.
“I know the laws change State to State, and I’ve seen some paparazzi photos of kids in NYC with their faces blurred- but, from asking around, I believe that that comes down to the integrity of the photographer, publication, or fans sharing the images,”she wrote.

“I write this all to say: to the Paparazzi, press, and beloved fan accounts, you know we have never intentionally shared our daughters face on social media. Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age, and that she can live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen.”
Gigi and Malik split up in October of 2021 after an alleged incident took place between Malik and Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid. Gigi has not posted much about him or their relationship since, but it looks like Malik still shares a co-parenting relationship with her and is spending time with Khai.
