Harry Styles reportedly met his girlfriend Olivia Wilde’s two children, Otis, seven, and Daisy, five, and it’s a sign that things are getting very serious for the couple. A source told The Sun that it’s actually the most serious relationship that Styles has ever been in.
“This looked like quite a showbizzy thing at first, two glamorous people hooking up but now it’s obviously a lot more than that,” said the source. “They held back a bit at first but now that things are more settled the time was right to do the next thing….It’s really exciting for them – and for Harry it’s the most serious he has ever really been about somebody.”
Wilde was previously engaged to ex Jason Sudeikis, with whom she shares custody of Otis and Daisy. Styles has been getting to know them slowly over the year they’ve been together. Styles and Wilde met on the set of Wilde’s film Don’t Worry Darling, a psychological thriller starring the pop music star, which she directed.
A source told People that they “have a great relationship” and that “Harry is slowly getting to know her kids. Olivia is also spending time with Harry’s mom.”
They have a pretty conflicting schedule, with Styles recently being on tour and Wilde regularly shooting films.
“[They try] to see each other as much as possible,” the source explained. “Olivia has been flying nonstop between L.A., where her kids live, to join Harry on tour…She always seems focused on just making it all work. She is really Harry’s biggest fan.”
There has been some contention over the timeline of Wilde and Sudeikis’s break up, with some rumors suggesting that Wilde broke off her seven year engagement to the father of kids because of Styles, rather than starting a relationship with him after her former one ended. Sudeikis is currently dating model Keeley Hazell, and the two recently escaped to Cabo San Lucas for a romantic getaway.
