On February 14, NBC’s SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert brought out the stars to New York City’s Radio City Music Hall to celebrate the sketch show’s long history with musical artists. The three-hour event was hosted by former cast member Jimmy Fallon and contained a number of highly anticipated performances as well as a few surprises.

The live-streamed concert included music from Cher, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, Robyn, Jack White, the Backstreet Boys, Jelly Roll, and Bonnie Raitt, with Questlove and The Roots supporting a number of acts.

Of course, Saturday Night Live offered a few comedic musical performances as well, including Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer as their characters Marty Culp and Bobbi Mohan-Culp, singing a medley of musical parodies that included Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

“Are Kenny Lamar and Drake Graham in the house? Maybe you can hug it out!” Ferrell joked in character. “What? No chance in hell?”

And former cast members Maya Rudolph and Fred Armisen appeared to do their impressions of Beyoncé and Prince to introduce Cher, who gave a stunning performance of her 1989 hit “If I Could Turn Back Time.”

Miley Cyrus and Brittany Howard joined forced to cover “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” as an ode to Queen and Freddie Mercury.

Cyrus also sang her hit track “Flowers” one more time, changing a lyric to reference Adam Sandler.

Robyn joined David Byrne to perform her famous tune “Dancing On My Own.”

Lady Gaga embraced the spirit of the evening with a medley of songs from The Lonely Island, joined by Andy Samberg. She touched on “Motherlover” and “I Just Had Sex” and the famous “Dick in a Box.”

Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean surprised fans of The Fugees by reuniting on stage, where they also sang a medley, including “Lost Ones” and “911” and “Killing Me Softly.”

The Backstreet Boys reunited as well, singing “I Want It That Way” to the delight of the audience, celebrities included.
