Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams got together for a stylish Destiny’s Child reunion this week, as the trio came together to celebrate Rowland’s 44th birthday. The Grammy-winning artists, who rose to fame as one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, marked the occasion with an intimate gathering, which Beyoncé documented in an Instagram post.

The singer shared a series of photos on Wednesday night, featuring her and her bandmates smiling and celebrating together. “Birthday bestie 🎂,” she captioned the post, which ignited excitement among fans of the beloved group. One photo showed Beyoncé and Rowland seated together at the candlelit dinner, while another captured the trio in a heartfelt moment of laughter and hugs.

Each of the singers dressed in striking ensembles for the celebration. Beyoncé opted for a vintage Patrick Kelly minidress, a black long-sleeve number with gold buttons, paired with gold statement earrings. Rowland wore a backless, deep blue halter-neck dress, while Williams stunned in a red sequined minidress.

While there has been no official word on a possible Destiny’s Child reunion or new projects, the group has remained close over the years. They last performed together during Beyoncé’s 2018 Coachella set, and in November, Rowland and Beyoncé watched Williams in a performance of Death Becomes Her on Broadway. Williams later reflected on her friends’ unwavering support, telling People, “Having them there, I felt anchored.”

Beyoncé also opened up about the group’s lasting friendship in her September 2021 Harper’s Bazaar cover story, saying, “Kelly [Rowland] and Michelle [Williams] are still my best friends.”

In addition to celebrating Rowland, Beyoncé has continued to spark buzz with her latest project, Cowboy Carter, and her upcoming tour. In her speech at the Grammys, she opened up about the personal significance of her Album of The Year win and gave a rare shout-out to her 7-year-old daughter, Rumi Carter, who is featured on the project. “Rumi, who’s on the album, was watching [at home], and I forgot to thank her,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “So I get to thank her now. Thank you, Rumi.”
