The Kansas City Chiefs did it again, winning the AFC Championship against the Buffalo Bills and securing their place at the Super Bowl. Taylor Swift, who was photographed arriving in a Louis Vuitton ensemble to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce play at Arrowhead Stadium, was among those on the field to celebrate his feat. She was filmed heading down with Kelce’s mom.
She joined Kelce and had an affectionate moment with him, touching his cheeks and taking him in after his victory. They even kissed:
She left the stadium with him, and Kelce had his arm wrapped around her in footage shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Swift attended the AFC Championship last year as well, going down to the field to fête her boyfriend and the Chiefs’s victory over the Baltimore Ravens. She embraced Kelce much like this year. It marked one of their most affectionate public moments to date:
In December 2023, Swift spoke to Time about the attention she garners for attending her boyfriend’s football games. Even then, just months into dating Kelce, she didn’t mind their love story being public.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she explained. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
She added that she doesn’t go to Kelce’s games to draw eyeballs. “I’m just there to support Travis,” she said. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
Kelce recently spoke adoringly about Swift’s ongoing support of him—and why she isn’t pushing him to retire after this season. “She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” he said on The Stephen A. Smith Show. “She loves coming to Arrowhead [Stadium] and coming to the games and cheering for me so I’ve got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”
