Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s oldest child, their 11-year-old daughter North West, makes a surprise appearance on FKA twigs’s new album, Eusexua. North is featured on the track “Childlike Things,” showcasing not just her rap skills, but her ability to speak Japanese.

North handles the song’s second verse and joins twigs on its outro. Here’s North’s part as it appears in Japanese:

こんにちは
私の名前はノースちゃん
カリフォルニアから東京
イエス様 王様 (Ah-ah)
神様賞賛 (Ah-ah)
イエスは唯一の真の神 (You need to know)

And here is the English translation of what North says, via Genius:

Hello
My name is North-chan
From California to Tokyo
Jesus, the King (Ah-ah)
Praise the Lord (Ah-ah)
Jesus is the one and only true God (You need to know)

In the outro, North repeats the first three lines of her verse in Japanese (in English: “Hello / My name is North-chan / From California to Tokyo”).

In October, North spoke to her mother, Kim Kardashian, for Interview. Their discussion shows what may have inspired North’s lyrics, as Christianity and Japan are two things North holds very near to her.

North discussed her faith, saying to help other people, she “spread[s] the gospel. Tell them about God, and how problems get solved if they follow His word and His way.”

She cited traveling to Italy with her dad, sister Chicago, and brothers Saint and Psalm. “It was just us and my siblings, and that’s when I really brought them close to God, because we had this house and there was these devil statues, and I was like, ‘Mm-mm, mm-mm, no, girl,’” North began. “I was like, ‘We got to pray.’ So then I taught Chi and Psalm and Saint how to pray. God really did his thing after.”

She touched on her interest in Japan in the interview as well, saying it is her favorite place to travel. “Japan is just like, ‘Ohayo gozaimasu. Konnichiwa,’” North told her mom.
