After leaving off on a massive cliffhanger in the season 2 finale, Prime Video’s Harlem is officially coming back for season 3. Created by Tracy Oliver, Harlem follows four best friends (played by Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Jerrie Johnson, and Shoniqua Shandai) as they navigate romance, careers, and complicated family relationships. This new season promises more of the same, with even more dramatic twists and laugh-out-loud moments.
Here’s what we know so far about the series’ third season, which will also bring some new faces into the mix.
Will there be a season 3 of Harlem?
Yes. This week, Prime Video announced that Harlem would return for a third season.
Series creator Tracy Oliver also shared the news on her Instagram with the caption: “WE’RE EXPECTING… y’all to tap in because @harlemonprime Season 3 arrives January 23!!!”
When will Harlem season 3 be released?
Season 3 of Harlem will premiere worldwide on Jan. 23, 2025, exclusively on Prime Video.
Who will be in the cast?
Series regulars Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Jerrie Johnson, Shoniqua Shandai, Whoopi Goldberg, Tyler Lepley, and Bevy Smith will return in season 3. The show will also welcome some newcomers to the cast. Kofi Siriboe, Logan Browning, Robin Givens, and Gail Bean join the crew in recurring roles.
Siriboe will star as Seth, an MLB player who sparks a passionate romance with one of the ladies. Browning’s character is Portia, a woman from Ian’s (Tyler Lepley) past whose return to Harlem causes a little drama. And Bean is Eva, a flirty venture capitalist who begins working with Tye (Jerrie Johnson). Givens will play Eva’s mom.
