It was rumored this month that Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti had gotten engaged. On November 26, E! News confirmed that they have not yet hit that relationship milestone. The couple is not engaged, but they did recently celebrate DiCaprio’s 50th birthday together in Los Angeles.
The event was held at Stella’s in West Hollywood on November 11 and it was attended by Tobey Maguire, Paris Hilton, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Steven Spielberg, Brad Pitt, Ines de Ramona, and Stevie Wonder, who sang “Happy Birthday” as he played the piano for The Revenant actor. In photos shared by TMZ, Ceretti could be seen leaving in a pair of ripped jean shorts, black boots, and a black blazer over a white-and-black striped shirt.
Ceretti and DiCaprio have been romantically linked since August 2023 after being seen on a yacht in Spain. The couple reportedly met during the premiere for Killers of the Flower Moon at the Cannes Film Festival in May of that year. A source said that by the fall, DiCaprio was calling Ceretti his “girlfriend.”
“Vittoria is a beautiful girl, but Leonardo is of course surrounded by many beautiful girls most of the time,” an insider told The Daily Mail at the time. “But he adores her and she him, they have been spending a lot of time together this summer, traveling around on romantic trips.”
They added, “It has obviously led to much chatter within his circle that Leo is ready to hang up his Lothario ways. There have been many women pictured with him, partying with him, but what he has with Vittoria is much more serious.”
In November 2023, an insider told Us Weekly that the Titanic star is “completely smitten” with Ceretti.
“It’s going so well that Leo’s actually being exclusive,” the source continued. “Vittoria is all he thinks about.”
They continued, “He says she’s not only gorgeous, but super down-to-earth, and they have a ton in common. She’s not intimidated by his fame at all—she even makes fun of it, ‘The model and the movie star.’ Leo finds it refreshing.”
Ceretti recently walked in the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She told Page Six of the big moment, “I have moments where I’m excited, moments where I’m nervous, moments where I’m scared. But I know that overall, we’re going to have so much fun.”
