It didn’t take long for Selena Gomez’s boyfriend, Benny Blanco, to chime in on her latest feat: earning a spot as one of ELLE’s Women in Hollywood with her Emilia Pérez co-stars Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón.
Gomez shared their shared ELLE cover on Instagram, and Blanco left a sweet comment: “perfection.”

The support went both ways this week. Blanco was named one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive, which Gomez celebrated on her Instagram Story. She posted a photo from Blanco’s shoot and wrote, “Not only do you love me unconditionally, you always get me my Taco Bell Mexican pizza.”
She also tagged Blanco in a second Instagram Story where she shared a quote from writer William C. Hannan. It read, “I still haven’t figured out how to sit across from you, and not be madly in love with everything you do.”
In his People interview, Blanco spoke highly of his girlfriend, whom he has been dating for over a year. “I’m a real morning person,” he said. “It’s my favorite time to spend with Sel, because we both wake up really early. It’s like our moment before the rest of the world wakes up. I have a true best friend that I get to do everything in the world with, and every day is the best day of my life.”
While Gomez did not speak about Blanco in her ELLE interview, she did discuss the immense joy she feels as she promotes Emilia Pérez, a project that has changed her life.
“Being in this moment with these women [talking] about a movie that’s so important and moving and beautiful, it’s been a wow moment for me,” Gomez said. “I definitely didn’t expect all of what’s happening. It just feels like a time in my life that I’m extremely grateful for. Honestly, every day I wake up thinking, How did I get to do this?”
