Selena Gomez has returned to her all black Emilia Pérez press tour wardrobe after stepping out in a red Oscar de la Renta gown at the film’s London premiere. Last night, she went out in New York City wearing a black rosette top, long coat, belted trousers, and heels. Gomez’s hair was styled down in curls.
The day before, she attended a SAG-AFTRA event for the film in a black blazer and white ruffle Francesca Miranda minidress.
Emilia Pérez will open in select theaters on November 1 and begin streaming on Netflix on November 13.
In addition to promoting the project, Gomez has also been open about her mental health. On World Mental Health Day this month, she participated in a keynote talk at a summit hosted by her mental fitness platform, Wondermind.
Gomez spoke about how overwhelming paparazzi attention can be for her and how she copes with it. “I am a very anxious person,” she admitted. “It’s kind of like doomsday, and I think having a positive conversation with yourself, even if that sounds weird, it’s really impactful. Like before I step out of the car, and there’s going to be lots of noises and stuff—if that’s the case, I’m not saying that’s every day—but I have to breathe, and I have to say, ‘All of this is a gift, and I may not be in the mood for this, [but] every time I see someone and end up making them smile, [it] always just makes my day no matter how I’m feeling.’”
