Taylor Swift skipped Travis Kelce’s last two games, sparking fan concern their relationship could be in trouble. Sources gave assurance to several different outlets yesterday that no, Swift and Kelce have not broken up. Swift is just preparing for her Eras Tour again, and it’s easier, security-wise, to attend Kelce’s home games. Swift has only missed away games this season.
But how are Kelce and Swift really doing? An insider gave Us Weekly extensive detail today about their relationship and future plans. “Nothing has changed [for them],” the source stated. “They’re spending as much time together as possible while balancing their careers and individual responsibilities—his game and her music empire, along with personal projects.”
They are also ignoring online chatter about their relationship status. “They’re choosing not to dwell on the noise, focusing instead on staying true to themselves and being happy,” the source shared. “They simply shrug off the stories. They see it as just another example of the press lifting someone up only to tear them down.”
Swift, in particular, is trying to take advantage of her tour break, which ends on October 17. She’ll play her next show in Miami on October 18.
“Their schedules are going to be getting super busy so Taylor has been enjoying a few more days of freedom before her upcoming shows,” the source said. “Taylor is still super busy, but trying to manage her schedule to allow for a better work-life balance.”
The insider added that the couple isn’t making any major decisions before 2025: “They are both focused on their work now and just want to get through the holidays and the tour and will be figuring out their next moves after the new year.”
The source’s intel mirrors what Us Weekly reported earlier this month. An insider explained then that Swift is “honing in what she wants to focus on after the tour.” Additionally, “She’s trying to make sure she has down time first and hasn’t fully made decisions about anything just yet.”
During her break, she plans on “spending quite a bit of time in with Travis,” the source said. “She’s really focused on getting back to some normalcy in the next couple months that she has off after being on a crazy ride with the tour.”
