Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce celebrated the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the Baltimore Ravens together, first holding hands while they left the stadium last night and then partying with Kelce’s teammates at Prime Social, Page Six reported. Kelce hosted the intimate event and rented out the bar for it. Swift was there, multiple sources told the outlet, and appeared to have a great time with her partner.
The couple did not stay in Kansas City long, though. Page Six obtained photos today of Kelce and Swift boarding her private jet. Swift covered herself with a black and white umbrella as she stepped onto her plane in heeled sandals.
The outlet was told they were en route to New York City, where Swift owns property (and where New York Fashion Week is ongoing). Swift is expected to attend the MTV VMAs next Wednesday, which will be right outside of the city in Newark, New Jersey. If Kelce joins her, it will mark the couple’s red carpet debut.
Kelce’s next game is on Sunday, September 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals. It’s unclear whether Kelce will have to return to Kansas City before Wednesday for practice, as his NFL season is now in full swing.
Swift is currently on break from her Eras Tour. She wrapped up her European leg on August 20 and will resume her U.S. shows on October 18 in Miami. A source told Us Weekly on September 5 that Swift hasn’t planned her life beyond tour, which ends in December.
“She’s trying to make sure she has down time first and hasn’t fully made decisions about anything just yet,” the source said. During this break though, Swift intends on “spending quite a bit of time in with Travis.”
The source added that the couple is “so in love. Friends hope an engagement is a sure thing in the future.”
