People always confuse me with Kendall Jenner. I constantly have to say, “No, I swear I’m not Kendall; stop taking pictures of me!” It’s so exhausting.
Obviously, I’m joking. I don’t look a thing like a 5’11” Victoria’s Secret angel (sadly), but how can you resist trying to emulate her effortless style? Every time she steps out with her endless legs, Jenner seems to give her fans yet another landmark look to copy. Fortunately, it’s somewhat of an attainable goal. The supermodel relies on capsule basics like straight-leg jeans, classic sweaters, and timeless accessories. If you want to replicate her wardrobe (give or take a few priceless items), it’s not impossible to do so.
Here, I’m breaking down 12 of my favorite model-off-duty Kendall Jenner outfits, plus where to shop to make the looks your own.
As if you needed any further evidence that Oxford shirts are a necessity, here’s Kendall flawlessly wearing one as a dress around New York City in 2023. Unfortunately, Khaite no longer sells this exact weekender bag, but the remaining components are simple enough that you might already have them on hand.
Shopping for lookalikes can be frustrating, but not this time. Sustainable brand Reformation happens to make the perfect alternative to Kendall’s original fitted denim midi dress from Sportmax. Black boots like hers are always a must-have, so I have to recommend my personal favorite pair from podiatrist-backed certified B Corp Frankie4.
Ahead of this August, when fans flock back to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, take note of what Jenner wore to the U.S. Open Tennis Championships in 2022. The star looked perfectly dressed in a V-neck frock and heeled sandals. You’ve got to love a model’s take on tenniscore.
I had an out-of-body experience when I saw Kendall wore this in 2023. Was she intentionally cosplaying as Carrie Bradshaw? I thought I couldn’t be happier, but then I discovered the exact same St. Agni mini dress could be mine for just over $200, and I felt truly exalted.
And while we’re on the subject of Jenner dressing up as fictional characters, I can’t ignore the Andi moment she had while wearing Bottega Veneta last year. Does she love How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days just as much as the rest of us? Inquiring minds need to know.
Here is it: the photo that launched the pantless movement. I would argue that the trend has never been done better, before or since. Brave shoppers can get the look with hot pants and an affordable pair of tights; Trader Joe’s always has the best sunflowers, so that just leaves the Bottega Veneta Sardine Bag.
This is what you look like pumping gas, too, right? Same. These green candy-striped boots are no longer available from Bottega Veneta, but that leaves room for you to put your own twist on the look with a pattern or color of your own choosing. That’s a rolled up magazine tucked under her arm, by the way, so you can get the look with this kitschy clutch… or by subscribing to a print magazine. Just a thought!
See here one of the many archival designer outfits Kendall has rocked. This grey suit set is 1997 John Galliano, so it would be pretty tough to get your hands on the exact same pieces. It serves as good inspiration for women’s workwear and suiting, though.
This ensemble is beyond flattering, which is to be expected from a well-fitted pair of high-waisted trousers such as these. Seriously, take your pants to a tailor. You can shop the exact same Paris Georgia top and go forth with Kendall’s blessing to mix black and brown tones in the same outfit.
She’s a horse girl, and she owns it. From her latte makeup and hair color du jour all the way down to the boots, this look is all about warm-toned neutrals—and denim that fits like a glove.
Another day, another ball cap. You might have an identical Hermès Kelly, or more likely, you own a baseball hat. This 2023 look shows that Kendall knows how to do casual attire just as well as red-carpet looks. Grab a baby tee, and call it a day.
If you want to channel Jenner on a night out, get ready to show some skin. The full look is Jacquemus (she was on her way to the label’s Paris Fashion Week show, after all), but the pieces aren’t available right now. Opt for anything with thigh-high slits, a deep neckline, or midriff-baring hem. And those black boots…always.
