Bones and All actress Taylor Russell appeared like a Classical statue come to life on the 2024 Met Gala red carpet—but with a botanic twist. Adorned in a custom Loewe wood-painted bodice cast and an ivory skirt swung low on her hips, Russell played with the “Garden of Time” theme with a set of branches brushed along her neckline and waist. She opted to keep her accessories simple but impactful: Subtle Fred Leighton diamond stud earrings and a pair of Jimmy Choo sandals added sparkle to the bare elegance of her outfit.

Although she did not walk the carpet alongside boyfriend Harry Styles—the singer is apparently busy bicycling in London—Russell ensured her Met Gala debut was a memorable occasion regardless. The famously fashion-forward star is never one to shy away from a viral red carpet moment; as she told Harper’s BAZAAR in February, she can’t even bring herself “to wear sweats outside.”

Meanwhile, she’s keeping her personal life personal. As a source told People last week, her relationship with Styles is on solid ground, as the two are “fairly serious” and “spend time in England.” They “have the same interests,” the source continued. “[Russell] has carved a life for herself and worked toward doing what she wanted. She is talented.” Here’s hoping she brings Styles—and his little pearl earring—back for next year’s Met. But if Russell opts to attend by herself again, you can be sure her look will be more than enough on its own.
