The Fall Guy is Universal Picture’s latest action-comedy flick starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. Loosely based on the 1981 TV show of the same title, Gosling plays Colt Seavers, a stuntman for Hollywood action star Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), while Blunt plays his girlfriend Jody Moreno, a camerawoman. One day, Colt gets hurt in a nearly career-ending injury while filming a stunt and he flees, abandoning the project and Jody. A year and a half later, he is offered a role in Jody’s directorial debut, so he returns to stunt work in hopes of rekindling their romance. But when the movie’s leading actor, Tom, disappears after potentially being involved with a murder (!), Colt is tasked with a job far bigger than he signed up for.

The Fall Guy is now playing in theaters, and has already seen commercial success.
