Attending Dior’s haute couture show wasn’t the only notable thing Rihanna did in Paris. The singer and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, met with none other than France’s president, Emmanuel Macron, yesterday. For the occasion, Rihanna opted for a little black ensemble. She wore a full look from Saint Laurent’s fall/winter 2023 collection, featuring a draped black top and black miniskirt.

She wore a belted leather jacket over the outfit when leaving the Palais de l’Élysée with Rocky. Her blonde hair was styled in a lob, evoking the viral “Mob Wife” TikTok trend.

This is one of Rihanna’s first major appearances of 2024. Before 2023 ended, the singer had a very different style moment at the launch event for her new FENTY x PUMA collection in December. She wore a purple jacket then with jeans and a white T-shirt.

She spoke to ELLE.com at the event, revealing what her absolute favorite outfit of all time is. “There are two different worlds that I created,” she began. “One was butt-naked with jewels and crystals all over me for the CFDA Awards, and I was like, ‘This is the sexiest moment. Nothing I ever wear will top this.’ Then, right after that, for a performance at the Grammys, I wore a full men’s suit, and I think that encapsulated my entire range of style at the time going from one to the other. It was super authentic to what I was feeling at that time.”

She also addressed how she’s doing as the parent of two sons, RZA and Riot. “Going from one to two is a major, major difference,” she shared. “Balancing two sets of everything. Two different feelings, two different personalities, everything. I think it’s been the most exciting and the most challenging, and I’ve built my world around them and I’m figuring it out and getting better. My friend told me it takes three years, so I’m hopeful.”
