Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were literally filmed driving off in his convertible post-game to continue their big day in Kansas City, Missouri, together. How they spent their evening? They rented out a restaurant, Prime Social Rooftop, and dined for their post-game date, per social media reports and Entertainment Tonight.
An eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight, “Travis bought out the restaurant for his family and team. Taylor arrived, wearing a denim dress, and was seen snacking, having some cocktails and dancing alongside Travis. The two were very affectionate with one another but kept things fun and lighthearted. Travis’ teammates also showed up to the after-party, as well as his mom, Donna Kelce. The party lasted until 2 A.M.”
A Swiftie on TikTok shared more details that she got from friends at the restaurant and others who messaged her. She wrote that Swift and Kelce “rented it [the restaurant] out, other players came, and they had a reservation.” Her video posted about the dinner yesterday went viral and got coverage on outlets such as Page Six.
Her update today clarified her initial claims and made it clear that no one was kicked out. “Not sure if it was Taylor or Travis, but one of them rented out the [restaurant’s] rooftop and they did have a reservation,” she said. “The restaurant did stop taking reservations after a certain time, which was so they could clear out the place and have the place for them. For people who were still there when their reservation was coming up, [they] had their meals paid for by Taylor. Everybody who I’ve spoken to thought it was so freaking cool. I would think the same thing. They did have to leave, but this is not uncommon as people have reservation limits all the time in the restaurant world.”
The user stressed that Swift and Kelce “had a reservation, and they had the place rented out, and they were very kind to pay for everybody’s meals and drinks.”
She added that “my friend also knew someone who was inside the box [at the game] who said Taylor was just absolutely lovely.”
TMZ reported that it could not confirm whether the couple paid to clear out the restaurant but mentioned the social media reports making headlines.
The outlet also shared that it had heard about Swift and Kelce for weeks and that “this was not a publicity stunt … they really have been dating.” The first video of them together came out shortly after the game ended, giving visual confirmation:
A source downplayed the seriousness of the relationship to People, saying, “Taylor is very focused on work right now and hanging out with her girlfriends. Travis invited her to the game, and of course she said ‘yes.’ She just thought it was a fantastic way to spend Sunday.”
