On Saturday, Jennifer Lopez headed out with her twins Emme and Max to lunch in Beverly Hills. J.Lo wore her favorite aviator sunglasses and a Gucci X Adidas button-up shirt paired with her cross body Gucci bag. She had on loose fit jeans, white sneakers, and swept her hair back in a casual ponytail.
The twins were wearing baggy clothes as well, with Emme in a blue Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirt, jeans, and black Converse shoes. Max also wore a navy blue top with a red thunderbolt graphic, grey sweatpants, and a blue hat. The musical artist and actress shares her kids with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Lopez spent the day after lunch running errands, shopping for a new fireplace. She and husband Ben Affleck recently bought a new mansion, paying $60.85 million in cash, which was actually under the $75 million asking price. The home, called the Wallingford estate, has famously been on the market since 2018, when it was originally listed at $135 million before being re-listed at a lower price this year. The estate sits on a promontory and has 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms.
The couple have been working to blend their two families, so maybe everyone having their own bathroom smoothes the way. Affleck brings three children to the marriage, 17-year-old Violet, 14-year-old Seraphina, and 11-year-old Samuel. He shares them with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
A source recently spoke to the Daily Mail about rumors the newly married couple were having marital problems, who insisted that “the narrative that they’re continually fighting is false.”
“They’re in an incredibly good place, very loving and supportive of each other,” said the insider.
During an interview on The View, Lopez talked about how blending their families has been wonderful, especially while observing how Affleck is with his kids.
“He’s an amazing dad; he is honestly the best dad I’ve ever seen. He’s so involved; he teaches me about how to interact with the kids sometimes,” she said. “He’s just so in tune, he’s such a brilliant guy anyway like he’s so learned in so many things, and you can just tell when he’s had his kids, he read every book and everything you could possibly learn about children, and he applies it and is present, and that’s all you can ask for, is a present, loving dad who cares and who shows up every single day, and that’s who he is.”
