Margot Robbie is putting a 2023 twist on ’70s style.
The Barbie star, who is a Chanel ambassador, looked like a bombshell at the French fashion house’s Cruise 2023–2024 runway in Los Angeles last night. Appearing amongst other A-list guests like Lil Nas X and Sofia Richie, Robbie sartorially struck out on her own via a dressed-down look.
For the base of her ensemble, she relied on a pair of high-waisted bell-bottom jeans in a classic light wash. For her top, the actor wore nothing but a black triangle bralette and a cropped vest made of woven gold chain-link and black leather cord. The house’s signature woven chain was arranged in a diamond pattern and spliced by rows of gold circular medallions.
To accessorize, she coordinated with a matching woven bracelet and a black quilted Chanel purse.
Robbie previously repped Chanel at this month’s Met Gala, whose theme honored the legacy of Chanel’s late creative director Karl Lagerfeld.
At the time, she ascended the carpeted steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a flowing black one-shoulder gown with a see-through corset bodice—a recreation of a similar dress from the house’s spring 1993 haute couture collection.
For the Met Gala after-party, she swapped her gown for a little black dress, also another Chanel creation. This time, the piece included thick white trim on the neckline and hem, plus glittering white sequins that zigzagged across the piece in horizontal stripes. For accessories, she opted for strappy black peep-toe heels and a black-and-white Chanel box bag with a woven chain strap.
