Rihanna continued putting her wow-worthy maternity style on display yesterday in New York City, when she and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky were photographed out together. Rihanna, of course, is pregnant with the couple’s second child, and showed off her expectant figure in a white bra worn under a mesh crop top by Vaquera, low-rise Agolde jeans, a black Y/Project jacket, Louis Vuitton sunglasses, and Timberland boots.
Rihanna hasn’t disclosed when her second child is due. She memorably announced her pregnancy in February while performing at the Super Bowl.
She and A$AP Rocky will celebrate their first child’s birthday later this month. They haven’t yet shared their firstborn son’s name either, but Rihanna has been more generous sharing photos.
The superstar spoke a little about her second pregnancy during the Met Gala. “It’s so different from the first one,” Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight. “No cravings. Tons of nausea. Everything’s different, but I’m enjoying it. I feel good. I feel energetic.”
Regarding her son, she said, “I’m in love. I’m obsessed and I don’t even feel guilty about it.”
Rihanna has purposely been “rebellious,” as she put it to Bustle in March 2022, with her maternity style during both her pregnancies. “When I saw women dress during their pregnancy [in the past], I’d think that that was the only way,” she recalled. “So I challenged myself to push it further and really just have fun with [maternity style].”
She added that has involved “me personally saying, ‘I’m not going to buy maternity clothes. I’m not gonna buy maternity pants, jeans, dresses, or [do] whatever society told me to do before.’”
