The first chapter of Citadel’s global takeover—or so Amazon Prime Video desperately hopes—is here, with the rollout of the first season of the spy thriller starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The story follows the collapse of the top-secret international spy group Citadel, and the repercussions in the lives of agents Mason (Madden) and Nadia (Chopra Jonas) as they fight against the rise of Manticore, the coalition behind Citadel’s fall. In other words: The series is trying hard to mimic the feel of Bond without the man himself, therefore making the absence of 007 all the more noticeable.

Still, there’s enough of an engine propelling the show forward that Madden and Chopra Jonas are already planning to return for season 2. As the early episodes make their initial impressions, here’s when and how to tune in for more.

When do new episodes of Citadel come out?

The six-episode first season will finish its rollout by the end of May. The first two entries are already available on Amazon Prime Video, with each subsequent episode dropping every Friday through May 26.

How can I watch Citadel?

If you already have an Amazon Prime account, then you already have a Prime Video subscription and can tune in from the company’s website or app. If you don’t, you’ll want to sign up; because the series is a Prime Video original, you’ll need Prime in order to watch. Welcome to the two-day shipping life, super spies!
