Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s hangouts are indeed romantic. A source told Entertainment Tonight in a report published today that Chalamet and Jenner really are dating, although it’s not serious at this point. The outlet also got intel on why the pair didn’t go public at Coachella and who likely introduced them.
Of the nature of the couple’s relationship, the source said, “They are keeping things casual at this point. It’s not serious, but Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes. It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.”
The source added that although both Jenner and Chalamet were at Coachella, they weren’t ready for the public to see them together. “Kylie decided she didn’t want to make things public with Timothée this past weekend at Coachella, and really just wanted to chill and have fun with her friends,” the source said.
ET didn’t get exact details on how the surprise couple met, but it did get a little hint: “Timothée is also friends with Kendall [Jenner, her sister] so it’s been easy for Kylie to integrate him into her life,” the source said.
Jenner’s car was seen at Chalamet’s house on Thursday, further sparking the dating rumors that unverified celeb gossip Instagram DeuxMoi first ignited earlier this month when multiple users claimed Jenner and Chalamet have been secretly seeing each other. Jenner’s breakup from on-off boyfriend Travis Scott was reported in January.
Us Weekly received similar intel on Jenner and Chalamet’s romantic relationship on Friday. “Kylie has only hung out with Timothée a couple of times, so things aren’t that serious,” that source said. “However, she’s enjoying getting to know him better and is open to seeing where things go. Things are very new so it’s hard to tell, but so far she likes what she sees.”
“Timothée is a total gentleman and treats [Kylie] with respect,” the source added. “He’s very charming and he makes her laugh, and he’s easy to talk to. He’s not like any of the other guys she’s dated before and although he may not seem like her type, they have really good chemistry.”
