What Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ Relationship Is Like as New Parents: ‘They Really Are So in Love’

Just one month into having their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, return home from a more than 100-day stay in the NICU, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are settling into parenthood, E! reports, and it has only strengthened their relationship. A source told the outlet, “Nick and Priyanka are doing great. They really are so in love, like they’re still in their honeymoon phase. It’s very cute and sweet.”

The source added that Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra, has been staying with the couple and helping them take care of Malti. Chopra herself has been a natural at motherhood, the source said: “Priyanka is very organized. She knows all the tips and tricks to take care of her.”

Chopa and Jonas shared the first photo of their daughter on Mother’s Day. Chopra praised her own mom in her post for all she’s done, too. (Malti was born via surrogate on Jan. 15.)

“On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced,” Chopra started on behalf of her and Jonas. “After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you.”

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caretakers in my life and out there,” Chopra added. “You make it look so easy. Thank you. Also.. there is no one I’d rather do this with than you. Thank you for making me a mama @nickjonas I love you ❤️”
