My love for Hello Kitty knows no bounds. In 2021, Kitty White was part of my kitchen, my closet (this Susan Alexandra collaboration was a high point of my year), and my beauty routine. This year, she’s staying firmly part of the latter with Pixi Beauty’s new collab, which drops tomorrow.

“There are so many things Hello Kitty and Pixi share in common,” says beauty brand founder Petra Strand. “We were born in London and have both have made friends all around the world.”

Hello Kitty gave some of Pixi’s best-selling skin and color products a very kawaii and collectible makeover—like the Glow Tonic and Makeup Fixing Mist which now have a new label and top—and two new products are joining the assortment.

The Lip Tone is a gloss-balm hybrid that has me nostalgic for early ’00s mood-changing lipsticks. The barely-there color reacts with your body’s pH, transforming to a custom and flattering shade of pink.

Apples are a big part of the Hello Kitty brand (Kitty is five apples tall!), which inspired the A for Apples sheet mask. Vitamin A and apple extract combine for a super-glowy skin treatment—and the paper mask has Kitty’s face printed on it with vegetable dye for an Instagram-worthy self-care experience.

These cuties will be going right inside my beloved Stoney Clover x Hello Kitty makeup bag.

The Pixi Beauty x Hello Kitty collaboration will be available starting January 11, 2022, on Pixi’s website, as well as at Target and Ulta. It will be on shelves for one year.
