Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reunited for the Thanksgiving holiday and spent the weekend together, marking the first major holiday they’ve celebrated alongside each other and their families since reconciling in the spring. E! got some details on Thanksgiving itself, which a very smitten Bennifer spent in Los Angeles.
“Jennifer was very excited to come home and spend Thanksgiving with Ben,” a source close to Lopez told the outlet. “[Ben’s] mom joined them and they had a lot of low-key family time with both of their families together.”
Lopez has 13-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck has 15-year-old Violet, 12-year-old Seraphina, and 9-year-old Samuel with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Lopez is dedicated to making this holiday season very special for all involved.
“Jennifer enjoys the holidays and this was her first since she and Ben have been back together,” the source said. “She wanted to make it special for him and for the kids and to start new traditions.” The source also said of Lopez and Affleck: “They are stronger than ever and very much in love.”
The couple made their love for each other very clear for paparazzi, who captured them on two separate occasion showing PDA.
On Saturday, the two were spotted holding hands while heading to a music studio together. Lopez wore a black turtleneck with dark jeans. Affleck complemented her in a burgundy T-shirt, tan slacks, and a black blazer.
Last night, the two went out to dinner, with Lopez dressed up in a camel Max Mara coat, as seen below. Affleck and Lopez were all over each other. Per the photo agency, Bennifer had “a romantic dinner date at Spagos Restaurant in Beverly Hills.”
This morning, TMZ reported that Lopez and Affleck’s Thanksgiving weekend also had a philanthropic element to it: They were photographed holding a food drive for Rise Against Hunger with their daughters. Lopez carried food in heels, because why not?
