The first OG Avenger to get his own Disney+ series, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, will see his patience finally rewarded on November 24, when the first two episodes drop on the fast-growing streaming service. The holiday-themed series follows Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, as he returns to New York City for a jolly weekend with his children, only to be waylaid when a young woman named Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) is spotted fighting crime with her own bow and arrow in tow.
The two pair up to fight an as-yet-undisclosed force known playfully as the Tracksuit Mafia. As per usual, Disney is keeping details close to the chest, but we do know one thing: The show is loosely based on Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye comics run, a beloved and critically acclaimed series amongst Marvel readers. If you’re looking to plan your weekly watch schedule around each new Hawkeye drop, here’s a brief overview of when to expect each episode.

In an interview with ELLE.com, producer Trinh Tran explained why Barton received his own series, as opposed to a feature film. “We actually talked about making the Hawkeye story a feature, at the beginning,” she says. “When [Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige] and I started talking about it. But after diving into the Fraction run, there was so much great stuff. I want to pull this; I want to use this. And I was like, how can we put it all into two hours worth of content?…So it made sense that Disney+ allowed the space for six hours worth of content.”
To watch the latest episode, all you need is a subscription to Disney+, available as part of a bundle with ESPN+ and Hulu for $14 per month (or $20 per month ad-free), or as an individual service for $7.99 per month (or &79.99 per year).
