On Saturday, October 30, Jennifer Lopez performed at the 36th Annual Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony in celebration of friend and colleague LL Cool J’s induction at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. J.Lo dressed to shine on stage in a Dolce & Gabbana black lace bralette with silver sequin detail, paired with black track pants and a blue AZ Factory coat.
Her tall, laced black heals were from her own Jennifer Lopez shoes collection.
Lopez posted images of her outfit paired with a black blazer on Instagram. J.Lo joined LL Cool J on stage after he performed his hit “I’m bad” for their shared Number 1 single “All I Have.” LL Cool J also surprised the audience with an appearance from Eminem for “Rock the Bells.”
The rapper told Rolling Stone that he was humbled by the recognition from the Rock Hall of Fame.
“It makes me want to get in the studio and give something back for this recognition,” he said. “In a weird kind of way, it makes me want to pay it forward by creating something special for people and outdo myself in a way, creatively. That’s what it does. It makes me want to give the world a new music project.”
He added when he started his career, his mind wasn’t on this kind of external recognition.
“I was thinking about getting a pair of Pumas, a gold chain, and writing my rhymes in my composition notebook,” he said. “And just going to the block party and just being the best rapper I could be, the best MC I could be, and just going through that process. I didn’t know about these things.”
Lopez has recently grown her own career in a new direction as well, announcing a partnership equity deal beverage company BodyArmor on Friday.
